Kelley Blue Book (KBB), automotive vehicle valuation company that published its first guide to used car values back in 1926, has just announced 2013 Best Resale Value Awards.
The Best Resale Value Awards are given out in three main groups - Best brands, Overall Top Ten Winners and Category Winners.
These awards are given out to recognize the automotive industry and the individual companies in it, for producing the cars that are more likely keep most of their value over the first five years of new-car ownership.
The 2013 model-year vehicle award winners have just been announced and the Best Resale Value Brand Award went to TOYOTA, Best Resale Value Luxury Brand Award went to LEXUS.
Inside the Top 10 Cars category you can find Honda Civic, Toyota Land Cruiser, Porsche Cayenne, just to mention a few names. The winner in high-end luxury car category was Porsche Panamera, in Minivan/Van category Toyota Sienna and Hybrid category Ford Fusion. Note that some vehicles were not considered for the awards, vehicles with low sales volumes as well vehicles with the manufacturer's suggested retail price more than $60,000 (except for luxury and high-performance categories).
